Wednesday Whites#2
Posted by Clavel at 10/11/2011 06:22:00 PM // Labels: Wednesday Whites
My share for today's Wednesday Whites "meme" is my Juice Maker. I bought this when I found out I was pregnant. Now I am enjoying the benefits I could get from carrot and apple juice using this very user friendly Juice extractor.
Based on the latest weather advisory issued by PAGASA today, typhoon "Ramon" was expected to reach Surigao del Sur. It has been raining since last night, and until today the rain has not stopped. I hope the rain won't continue for more days because I am worried to those areas affected by flashfloods before due to heavy rain, will experience again the difficulty of being in the situation.
Now, because of typhoon "Ramon" our plan to go to Surigao, for another family bonding, after my sister's golden birthday party, was canceled. I thought it would be my chance to visit the place since I haven't been there before. I have heard a lot of nice beaches in Surigao but it would be dangerous to pursue the said plan when typhoon is on the way. Instead of pursuing the plan, we agreed to extend the golden birthday party of my sister in the nearby beaches in cagayan de Oro City.

How Long Does it Take To Give A Surprising Birthday Gift?
Posted by Clavel at 10/06/2011 06:35:00 AM // Labels: Birthdays and presents, product reviewsMy husband who will be celebrating his birthday on the 27th of October this year, I want to surprise him a gift. On the day of his birthday, I was thinking of taking him to the mall to window shop at the store he likes, letting him inspect and explore the functions of a Nokia 700 cellphone. I know he likes the kind of a mobile phone that sits comfortable in the palm of your hand and slips easily into your pocket. And this Ultra slim phone would be the perfect gift I could think about that he would love to have.
It doesn't take a whole day but it would only take one hour to surprise him for a gift.

Do you have a basket full of laundry like these? gosh! I hate to admit it, I am not into washing clothes nowadays because of my condition. It's very difficult doing laundry when your pregnant? Washing clothes and cleaning the house are my favorite house chores actually, and now everything's change, all I want is to lie down, watch movie and eat!
By the way, This is my entry for Blue Monday, my blue laundry basket.

This is how it looked during Fiesta in my Hometown. You can see a lot of kids playing inside the covered court during the Coronation night of the Ms. Barangay. It looks like they were having fun and doesn't care what they wore. It was so funny that even how persistent our Barangay officials tried to tell them to get out of the court because the coronation was about to start, the more they became playful. The way I see it, they were so amazed by the lights and bubbles dancing together with the music. Who can blame them? lol!

Still Armed. Still Dangerous. Still Got It.
Posted by Clavel at 9/19/2011 09:40:00 PM // Labels: Action packedSYNOPSIS: Frank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich), and Victoria (Helen Mirren) used to be the CIAs top agents but the secrets they know just made them the agency's top targets. Now framed for assassination, they must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive. To stop the operation, the team embarks on an impossible, cross-country mission to break into the top-secret CIA headquarters, where they will uncover one of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups in government history.
I always liked Bruce's movies. It was full of action and rich in story. I wonder if government conspiracies were really true. If this in fact what's happening in government history, then we have the reason to be afraid of, for our country.
SYNOPSIS: A drama centered on the efforts of John and Aileen Crowley to find a researcher who might have a cure for their two children's rare genetic disorder. Brendan Fraser as John Crowley and Keri Russel as Aileen Crowley in Tom Vaughan drama 'Extraordianary Measures'.
I find this movie full of emotion and and hope. As the saying goes, "There is nothing impossible if you work for it." I didn't know there was Pompe Disease until I watched the movie. I was curious then, so I research what Pompe disease is. It is a rare kind of disease. It is known as an inherited disorder caused by the buildup of complex sugar called GLYCOGEN in the body's cell. If accumulation of glycogen in certain parts of your body, specially muscles, grew rapidly, it will impaired their ability to function normally. Sometimes movies like these are very helpful, it gave us the knowledge that there are other kind of diseases that we should be aware of in order for us to be careful in our health.
