Mellow Yellow Monday#5

This is how it looked during Fiesta in my Hometown. You can see a lot of kids playing inside the covered court during the Coronation night of the Ms. Barangay. It looks like they were having fun and doesn't care what they wore. It was so funny that even how persistent our Barangay officials tried to tell them to get out of the court because the coronation was about to start, the more they became playful. The way I see it, they were so amazed by the lights and bubbles dancing together with the music. Who can blame them? lol!

My Lovey dovey at MOAP ( Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park)

Still Armed. Still Dangerous. Still Got It.

SYNOPSIS: Frank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich), and Victoria (Helen Mirren) used to be the CIAs top agents but the secrets they know just made them the agency's top targets.  Now framed for assassination, they must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive.  To stop the operation, the team embarks on an impossible, cross-country mission to break into the top-secret CIA headquarters, where they will uncover one of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups in government history.
I always liked Bruce's movies. It was full of action and rich in story. I wonder if government conspiracies were really true. If this in fact what's happening in government history, then we have the reason to be afraid of, for our country.

Don't Hope For A Miracle. Make One.

SYNOPSIS: A drama centered on the efforts of John and Aileen Crowley to find a researcher who might have a cure for their two children's rare genetic disorder. Brendan Fraser as John Crowley and Keri Russel as Aileen Crowley in Tom Vaughan drama 'Extraordianary Measures'.
I find this movie full of emotion and and hope. As the saying goes, "There is nothing impossible if you work for it." I didn't know there was Pompe Disease until I watched the movie. I was curious then, so I research what Pompe disease is. It is a rare kind of disease. It is known as an inherited disorder caused by the buildup of complex sugar called GLYCOGEN in the body's cell. If accumulation of glycogen in certain parts of your body, specially muscles, grew rapidly, it will impaired their ability to function normally. Sometimes movies like these are very helpful, it gave us the knowledge that there are other kind of diseases that we should  be aware of in order for us to be careful in our health.

He Seek For Revenge!

SYNOPSIS: Two Turkish anti-terrorist agents are sent to New York City on a mission to find and bring back the dangerous Islamic leader code named  "Dajjal", believed to be hiding in there.  Working with the FBI and NYPD, the agents orchestrate the arrest of Hadji Gumus, a well respected Muslim scholar and family man who years before fled to the United States after being released from a Turkish prison, where he served time for murder. This tale love, friendship, peace and prejudices, takes us on a journey seeking to answer the question of whether innocence or not.
I so loved this movie because some part of the story there, that I can totally relate. To be honest, I was crying the whole time when I watched it. There are so many lessons that you can get out from this movie. What inspire me the most was the love that binds the family of this man and the love that he has to his wife and daughter no matter what was their religious beliefs. He is a good man who has a strong faith in GOD and believes that we worship the same GOD inspite of different religious beliefs and practices. You must watch this!

Two Worlds. One Hero

Do you like adventure and fantasy movies? Nah! me, am not really a fan of these kinds of movies but when I saw this movie, it makes me wanna watch more fantasy films. I find this different from other fantasy film I have watched maybe because we have known "THOR", the goddess of Thunder, when we were just kids and fun of reading comic and fantasy books. What also made me like this movie was the one who played the character of "THOR". He was so gorgeous. He is perfect for this movie.
SYNOPSIS: The epic adventure "Thor" spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the mystical realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. As a result, Thor is banished to Earth where he is forced to live among humans. When the most dangerous villain of his world sends its darkest forces to invade Earth, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero.

On Stranger Tides

Pirates of the Caribbean: on Stranger Tides, was the latest release of the Pirates of the Caribbean series. As usual, Johny Depp played the role of Captain Jack Sparrow. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, my all time favorite producer, "Pirates of the Caribbean:on stranger tides" captures the fun, adventure and humor that ignited the movie goers to watch it. I wonder why Keira Nightley was not in the movie this time. Although, Penelope Cruz played perfectly in the chosen character for her, Keira Nightley was also admired in her excellent performance as an actress, who played the role of Elizabeth Swann from the previous Pirate of the Caribbean sseries. Do you think there will be another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, next year?
