I was just finish watching this movie and I could say that, what the City of Cagayan de Oro is experiencing right now, can totally relate with this movie. Although this is much worst compare to Leptosprirosis case. I hope to GOD it would not go this far. I believe the cause of the epidemic of this movie was coming from an animal, just like Leptospirosis disease. Nowadays, it is very important to wear a mask if you go out from your house. And it’s very important to wash your hands with a soaps or with a hand sanitizer, often.

No Other Woman...

One of the most talked movie today is..."No Other Woman." The  movie has reached the 210 million pesos earning as of October 11, and counting, according to the news. Many have questioned why the said movie clicked. Is it because the lead stars are famous and extremely gorgeous? Well, the answer was very clear, I suppose. Infidelity issue are very common in our society today, and is still happening and could not be controlled. Women in particular, watched the movie because maybe some of them can totally relate to it. Some would want to watch it to gain a lesson from it. There were some other, just for the sake of curiosity went to the movie theater to find out for themselves. My sister who have watched the movie already together with her husband, had nothing to say about the movie, but her husband has one thing to say to me that made us all laugh, "he was ashamed of himself because he had noticed there were no guys aside from him inside the theater" lol!. The movie is still showing today, but I don't have any plan on watching it. I will just wait for the cd to be out in the pirated market lol! then, I will give you my review.

Don't Hope For A Miracle. Make One.

SYNOPSIS: A drama centered on the efforts of John and Aileen Crowley to find a researcher who might have a cure for their two children's rare genetic disorder. Brendan Fraser as John Crowley and Keri Russel as Aileen Crowley in Tom Vaughan drama 'Extraordianary Measures'.
I find this movie full of emotion and and hope. As the saying goes, "There is nothing impossible if you work for it." I didn't know there was Pompe Disease until I watched the movie. I was curious then, so I research what Pompe disease is. It is a rare kind of disease. It is known as an inherited disorder caused by the buildup of complex sugar called GLYCOGEN in the body's cell. If accumulation of glycogen in certain parts of your body, specially muscles, grew rapidly, it will impaired their ability to function normally. Sometimes movies like these are very helpful, it gave us the knowledge that there are other kind of diseases that we should  be aware of in order for us to be careful in our health.

Love can be so painful...

This movie was way too old already but just in case you haven't seen it yet, you might as well watch this, that, if you like sentimental love story and very dramatic movie. If you like the movie "The Notebook" and "The Message in a bottle, I am pretty sure you might also like this one.
SYNOPSIS: The stars of unfaithful (Ricahrd Gere and Diane Lane) rekindle their on-screen chemistry in this rich tale of heart's awakening based on a best seller by Nicholas Sparks.
Richard Gere, a surgeon who long ago unwittingly traded family for career. While Diane Lane is a devoted mother trying to move on after her husband's infidelity. At a remote inn on the Outer Banks, Richard Gere and Diane Lane expect to do some serious soul-searching. A murder she didn't commit...

Synopsis: A married couple's life is turned upside down when the wife is accused of a murder. Life seems perfect for John Brennan (Russel crow) until his wife is arrested for a gruesome murder she says she did not commit. Three years into her sentence, her husband is struggling to hold his family together, raising their only son and teaching at college while he pursues every means available to prove her innocence.

If you haven't watched this movie yet, you better be. I am a very sentimental and very emotional sort of person. What I loved about this movies is how the husband loved her wife or her family in particular, so much, that he will do anything to free her wife from prison for the crime he did not commit. The husband never had any doubts for his wife's innocence. A love that is so strong and sincere that no one can stop him to get her wife out of the prison, when he finds out that his wife will be moved to another place in "Three days". The movie was so simple and yet very interesting. Watch it!

A Dog's Story

Like I promised, I won't be posting movie reviews that are not worth watching for.
I kind of feeling sentimental and very dramatic today for my first post , so my advise is that you get a load of a very thick hankie because you will be crying from the very first part until the end of the movie LOL!. I am sharing with you a true story about a dog, named "HACHIKO". Believe me, I didn't know dogs can be so sweet, loving, and devoted. The truth is that, I hate Dogs ever since I was a little girl, in fact I have history about dog bite, that's why... I was brought to the clinic everyday for my daily anti rabies injection, for one month, I think, and I hated it. Now, everything has changed about my attitude towards dog when I saw this movie, and I wanted to get one as a pet..
Actually, this heartwarming true story is an American adaptation of a Japanese tale about a loyal dog named HACHIKO. This very special dog would accompany his Master to the train station everyday when he goes to work and return each afternoon to meet him after work. Until one day, his Master did not return to the train station, but HACHIKO faithfully waited and waited at the train station for the next nine years believing that his Master will return. It is indeed A true story of faith, devotion, and undying love.
Well? what are you waiting... go and find this movie, and tell me if you couldn't shed even a single tears in your eyes.
